History

The company HYDROPLAN was created by Dr. Hans-Georg Dillo (†) on July 9th 1969 with the obtaining of the hydro- agricultural Project “Nianga” in Senegal. Since the beginning, HYDROPLAN showed its difference through its international commitment. The focus of the tasks was set on the follow-up, design and development concerning the financing by international development banks for developing and transformation countries. The primary goal is still alive and is set on the execution of projects in very complex fields and different countries worldwide.

Worms Water Tower

On 31st December 1998, the company was taken over by Mr. Alois Lieth and the headquarter of the company was transferred from Herdecke to Worms. In 2000, his daughter, Dr. Sabine Lieth, joined the company. Today, she is Managing Director leading the Business Development and the Project Backstopping Department of the company.

With its structure, HYDROPLAN is one of the few German independent international consulting companies having a private status. The company is proud to have celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2014.
